Traditional Announcements

We specialize in producing Custom Folders & Covers for your wedding announcements. We have several “Dies” that we own of which we provide to our customers at NO CHARGE for the use of them. Some of these dies cost us several hundred dollars. A die is used for a special cut folder. They have angled cuts on the flaps, such as a “V” flap and a pocket which has die-cut tabs so that the pocket is glued, so that your Wedding Inserts can conveniently fit into the pocket without falling out. The glued pocket keeps the inserts together to make a vivid impression when your guests open up the folder to see what is inside. We can use any kind or color of paper, smooth or textured, with a variety of finishes (ie; Linen, Laid, or Columns, Metallics, etc.) Inside you can fit the announcement in the pocket, or glue it to the center panel. You can also glue a photo enclosure (usually a 4” x 6” size) but up to a 5” x 7” on one of the panels, or simply insert your photo into the pocket. The inserts, such as a Ceremony card, Temple Sealing, Dinner or Luncheon, or Reception card can be fit into the pocket. We also can include a reception location Map with directions or a Registration card in the pocket as well. Some of you may want to put a Name Card or a Tag with your Monogram (Letter of your new last name) or bride and groom’s first names or initials either on the inside below the pocket, or on the outside front and glue it on so that it can be used to slip the tip of the “V” cut flap into, to hold the folder together. You can also choose to put a ribbon or bow, or band around the folder. The choices are only limited to your imagination. We also do covers that are not die-cut and glued, but are scored in two places of which you can mount your announcement and/or photo on the inside and just slip the inserts into the folded tab on the bottom. These cost a lot less than the die-cut ones and we get about twice as many out of the sheet of paper so the paper cost on them is much less. We also make Covers that the announcement fits inside that are scored in only one place, which allows your names to show on the side, and builds excitement with your guests as they open the cover to reveal the information inside. We have many styles and options to choose from. We have some that serve as a “self-envelope” if you wish, and you can put a “wax seal” on it to secure the cards inside. We have a price list for all these items and the cost is based on quantity ordered. As usually the case with printing, the unit cost is less, with a higher quantity, so the unit cost of these folders is less on large weddings. Specifics are found in the Pricing Guide for these items. We also can do or produce practically any custom design that you may come up with yourself or that you may be interested in.
